D&D Learning Day at Choa Chu Kang Public Library – 24 Sept 2022

Learn to Play D&D!

You’ve seen the shows, you know of the game. Now, try your hand at the legendary fantasy role-playing game at the Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) Experience Day.

Hour-long mini-adventures will be run throughout the event to allow everyone a taste of D&D. Try creating your own characters, or use your creativity to expand on one of our pre-generated characters as you travel through the Forgotten Realms.

Veteran players are welcome to play (this is a good time to invite those friends you’ve been trying to get to start playing!)

Looking for more D&D? Future sessions will be made available on Eventbrite as well as Warhorn.

This programme is recommended for those aged 13 and up.

What’s D&D?

For those of you who are new to D&D, the core of D&D is storytelling. You and your friends will tell a story together, guide your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue, and much more!

What to Bring?

  • A pencil and eraser
  • Optional: A folder and notebook/writing pad
  • Optional: Your own miniatures or character if you have them.

Note: Dice, miniatures and character sheets will be provided for those without them. You can bring your character sheets home after the session

The World

The Forgotten Realms is a world of strange lands, dangerous creatures, and exotic races, where magic and supernatural phenomena are quite real and deities interact directly in the affairs of mortals.
